The OI Analytical Tandem PID/ELCD detector is a combined detector system that incorporates the 4430 photoionization detector with the 5320 electrolytic conductivity detector.
The patented design uses a single GC port and allows for the acquisition of two chromatograms simultaneously from a single injection, eliminating transfer lines between detectors and improving instrument performance and peak shape. By combining these two detectors, dual detection of aromatic and halogenated compounds is possible.
The detectors can be used separately if desired.
