Compactness, the possibility of cleaning without the presence of an operator and complete compliance with the strict indications of the EPA methods, make the SRA Instruments SPC system the instrument of choice when an automatic solution is needed for cleaning a limited number of canisters.
The USEPA TO-15 method requires maintaining the containers at a thermoregulated temperature between 50 and 100°C; in these conditions the canisters are subjected to at least three pressurization phases at 30 psi operated with inert gas and alternated with as many vacuum washing phases at a pressure of 30 mTorr. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the operator can choose whether to leave the canister in the vacuum condition to proceed with sampling or leave the container under pressure to analytically evaluate its cleanliness (preferred mode).
Productivity allows at least 8-12 canisters to be washed in a working day.
